钻杆地层测试是使用钻杆或油管把带封隔器的地层测试器下入井中进行试油的一种先进技术,它既可以在已下入套管的井中进行测试,也可在未下入套管的裸眼井中进行测试;既可在钻井完成后进行测试,又可在钻井中途进行测试。钻杆地层测试工艺,可减少钻井时间,及早发现和评价油藏,降低勘探开发成本,有效解决勘探中遇到的难题。2007年首次在内蒙古白音查干油田达50井应用,成功地进行了测压和取样,并在古生界见油气显示,这是白音查干凹陷第一口在古生界地层中见油气显示的井。
