“doing理论”是英语中的一个词态,意思是强调过程为主,以结果为次。引入到老年教育中,就是强调以学员的“学习、到课”为基本要求,学习成绩优劣不是主要的。作者认为,此理论可为老年教育提供一种全新的、更适合老年人特点的教育模式。让老年人在相对宽松、无思想负担的环境中学习,其学习兴趣会更浓,更容易收到好的学习回报,更能体现老年教育的价值,实现老年教育促进和保障“精神养老”的终极目标。
