我厂10吨无芯工频感应炉采用石英砂炉衬。自1971年投产至1975年,炉衬寿命很低,平均寿命仅30炉左右,不仅筑炉频繁,而且无法满足生产需要。从1975年年底开始,我们从原料、炉衬打结、烘炉烧结、使用维护等方面着手攻关,1976年开始,炉衬寿命显著提高,1977年下半年以来,炉衬修补前一般可使用60~80炉,经修补后炉衬总寿命一般超过百炉,最高达231炉。本文根据石英的特性,讨论如何选择用于构筑工频感应炉炉衬的石英砂和确定烘炉烧结规范。众所周知,在铸铁熔炼中,普遍采用石英砂来构筑工频感应电炉内衬。石英砂的品质对炉衬使用寿命有十分重要的影响。因此,一般希望用于构筑工频感应电炉内衬的石英砂十分
