在民族地区将社会主义核心价值体系建设与思想政治工作结合起来,既有利于实现民族地区思想的有机统一,展现思想政治工作的导向性,又有利于构建民族地区民众的群体意识,展现思想政治工作的实效性。以云南纳西族为例,通过对社会主义核心价值体系融入民族地区思想政治工作的现实性和特殊性的分析,提出社会主义核心价值体系融入民族地区思想政治工作的三条有效策略,即实现纳西族宗教和社会主义核心价值体系的衔接,尊重并规范纳西族传统文化的多元化发展,构筑转型期纳西族发展的良好环境。
