On March 12, at the Third Session of the Twelfth National People’s Congress, Zhou Qiang, President of the Supreme People’s Court, made a ”Supreme People’s Court Work Report.“ ”The Supreme People’s Court accepted 11,210 cases and concluded 9,882 cases, Up 1.8% and 1.7% respectively in 2013 ...... “Strong figures show us the progress of various tasks in the Supreme People’s Court. Compared with previous years, this year’s work report of the Supreme People’s Court has invested a great deal of effort in judiciary for the benefit of the people and impartial administration of justice. The Supreme People’s Court’s work on this matter is illustrated with specific data and a major case of great concern.
