5-FU has attracted particular attention as a radiosensitizer in both clinical and laboratory settings. The sensitization of 5-FU in cell culture depends on the drug concentration and the duration of the drug exposure. When prolonged with low-dose 5-FU and radiotherapy combined time, it seems to produce the greatest sensitization. The authors’ study was to evaluate the efficacy of continuous low-dose 5-FU infusion in the treatment of cervical squamous cell carcinoma that has metastasized to the para-aortic lymph nodes during radiotherapy. There are 10 cases of patients with lymph node metastases of the abdominal aorta through the application of lymphography or CT scan, abdominal para-aortic lymph node biopsy and biopsy.
