班固《两都赋》与《汉书·礼乐志》的思想颇多会通之处,根据《礼乐志》中班固的议论及其倾向,可以判断《两都赋》的写作时代当在章帝时期。《两都赋》所取得的文学成就,与它对西汉文学的综合取法密不可分,显示了班固作为一代文学大家的魄力和才华,也昭示着东汉文学广采博综的发展路向。《两都赋》的思想主旨是赞美东都的礼乐、教化,重在文治而非武功,反映了东汉前期军事退守与兴复礼乐两大政治文化思潮。
According to the discussion and tendency of Ban Gu in “Ritual and Music”, it is possible to judge whether the writing age of “Liangdu Fu” should be Zhangdi period. Literary achievements made by “Dudu Fu” are inseparable from its comprehensive acquisition of Western Han literature, demonstrating Ban Gu as the courage and talent of a generation of literary people, as well as showing the development direction of literary, scientific and literary collections in the Eastern Han Dynasty. The ideological tenet of “Dudu Fu” is to praise the ritual and music in the east, to enlighten, to emphasize on righteousness rather than martial arts, and to reflect the political and ideological trends of retreating and rehabilitating rituals in the early years of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
