2005年8月11日—8月15日,上海音乐学院交响乐团应邀赴德参加2005’Young.Euro.Classic(青年欧洲古典)音乐节。这是该乐团首次赴欧洲演出,为保证质量扩大国际影响力,校方特别邀请了芬兰国家歌剧院艺术总监、指挥家、上海音乐学院校友汤沐海担任指挥,并委约旅法女作曲家、罗马大奖获得者、上音校友徐仪为本次巡演创作新作:《Tai》——古筝与交响乐队。乐团于8月13日和8月14日分别在汉堡和柏林各演出一场,演出获得巨大成功,得到音乐节组委会的高度认可。
From August 11 to August 15, 2005, the Symphony Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music was invited to attend 2005’Young.Euro.Classic (Youth European Classical) Festival. This is the first time the orchestra performed in Europe. In order to ensure the quality and expand its international influence, the school specially invited Finnish State Opera Director and conductor, Tang Muhai, alumnus of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, as conductor and commissioned the French composer and Rome Prize Winner, alumnus Xu Ji for this tour creation new work: “Tai” - the guzheng and symphony orchestra. The orchestra performed each in Hamburg and Berlin on August 13 and August 14, and the performance was a huge success, which was highly recognized by the organizing committee of the festival.
