Volunteers, volunteer in English, the United Nations defines it as “not to benefit, money, notorious for the purpose, but to make contributions to the immediate neighbor and the world”. Volunteers contribute their personal time and energy to provide services to improve social services and promote social progress without material reward. In our country, young volunteer service is still a new-born thing in the early 1990s. After entering the 21st century, China’s voluntary service has been developing rapidly. From the Beijing Olympic Games to the Shanghai World Expo, the team of volunteers has grown. From poverty alleviation to community building, from public service to supporting education, the scope of volunteer service is also expanding day by day. There are volunteers in all fields of society.
