The “South China Earthquake Disaster and Geological Hazards Symposium” jointly organized by Guangdong Seismological Society, Geological Society and Ocean Lake Society was held on February 3-7 in Zhaoqing, Guangdong. The conference received enthusiastic responses from three academic members. More than 50 representatives from three institutes attended the conference and received 55 abstracts of academic papers covering seismic geology, engineering earthquakes and earthquakes.
