台北故宫博物院台北故宫博物院位于阳明山脚下双溪至善路2段221号,中国电影文化城东北侧,背山面溪,地理位置十分理想,落成于1965年8月。从这时起,中国有了两个故宫博物院。台北故宫博物院,占地约1公顷,是一座仿北京故宫式样设计建造的钢筋水泥大厦。伫立在院前大眺台上观瞻全院,令人恍若置身北京故宫;而紧贴博物院的是覆盖浓密树林的陡峭山势,又令人宛如站在南京紫金山麓。从外形看,建筑物似为2层,实则4层,建筑平面成梅花形。第一层分别是讲演、办公室、图书馆;第二层是展览室、大厅及画廊,用来展示书画,四周共有8间展览室,陈列铜器、瓷器

The second floor is the exhibition hall, lobby and gallery. It is used for displaying calligraphy and paintings.
