武陟东石寺遗址系第一批河南省文物保护单位,为我区现存规模最大、内涵最丰富的古代文化遗址之一。历年来经过多次调查,特别是在1978年、1984年两次文物普查中,采集了大量标本,现将这批资料整理简报如下。一、遗址概况东石寺遗址位于武陟县城北2公里的一片高地上,其东北为古河凹地,沁河在遗址南自西而东蜿蜒而过,北面为开阔的平原,遗址东北角即今东石寺村。从调查情况来看,该遗址东西长约1000米,南北宽800米,总面积约10万平方米。由于历年来砖瓦窑场起土,遗址大部分已遭破坏,从起土凹坑的断面观察,文化层堆积1—3米,最深达6米,土质
The site of Wutai Dongshi Temple is the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Henan Province. It is one of the existing ancient cultural sites with the largest scale and the most abundant connotation in our region. After many surveys over the years, especially in the two cultural relics censuses of 1978 and 1984, a large number of specimens were collected, and the data are summarized as follows. I. Site Overview The site of the East Stone Temple is located on a plateau 2 km north of Wudang County. Its northeast is the Furukawa.
