和田地区质量技术监督局是自治区质量技术监督垂直管理的单位,主要职责是按照《计量法》、《标准化法》、《产品质量法》、《自治区计量监督管理条例》的要求,开展行政执法和“打假”工作。对产品质量、计量、标准化、锅炉压力容器、纤维实施管理。下辖七县一市局,并设有技术保障机构,即和田地区质量与计量检测所和纤维检验所,承担计量器具的检定、产品质量和纤维及其制品的检验工作。
