Scientists attending a recent mesoscience conference,the Preparatory Meeting of the Inteational Panel of Mesoscience,call for more people to engage in the study,and to verify its generality with more case studies.From 27-29 May,over 30 distinguished scientists from Australia,Britain,China,France,Hungary,Italy,Switzerland,and the USA met in Beijing to discuss the status and pathways forward for an emerging interdisciplinary research area:mesoscience.
