The phenomenon of precocious chromosome condensation (PCC) is the result of the fusion of mitotic and interphase cells. A factor in mitotic cells leads to collapse of the nuclear membrane and chromatin condensation of interphase nuclei. The early-mature coagulation chromosomes were single, fragmented and double-decker in G_1, S and G_2, respectively. More than 50 cases of PCC have been reported to occur spontaneously in malignant tumors, such as bladder cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer and acute myeloid leukemia in adults.
