建构主义学习理论认为,知识是学习者在一定的情境即社会文化背景下,借助获取知识过程中的其他人(包括教师和学习伙伴)的帮助,利用必要的学习资料,通过意义建构的方式而获得。从分析英语学习者对英语书面语意义理解的过程可以看出,读者可根据头脑中现有的“图式”、通过扩大读码和解码单元、并在教师和学习伙伴的帮助下有效的建构意义。
