Half a century ago, a U.S. female college student married a Chinese student and went to China after being wrecked by the war with her husband. She did not have the idea of returning to China in the face of war and displaced life. During her three-year temporary hardship, she laughed at hunger and poverty and lovingly treated the Yellow Earth. During the “Cultural Revolution”, Premier Zhou Enlai protected her family, protected her and personally asked her to become a Chinese national. For decades, she has worked hard at China’s higher education and has been friendly to China and the United States. The Seventh National People’s Congress’s “Report on the Work of the Government” personally translated by her has been praised by the party and state leaders. Today, five of her six children and women work and live abroad, and she still loves the yellow land. She said: “China has my career, my home.”
