就目前而言,有关英语自主学习中心学习材料评价的研究不多。本文鉴于Tomlinson的评价框架,采用混合型研究方法,以某一高校使用该平台3个月后的197名非英语专业学生和4名任课教师为研究对象,对英语自主学习平台上的学习材料进行评价。研究表明,81.64%的学生认为这些材料适合自主学习,并倾向选择“视听”材料;4名任课教师却普遍认为这些材料对于自主学习帮助不大,因其内容陈旧,缺乏英语练习,视听说材料少等不足。
