种子萌发行为在沙漠一年生植物的持续存在与种群动态中具有关键作用.目前关于沙漠一年生植物种子萌发对策的研究多集中于热带和亚热带沙漠,而针对于温带沙漠植物萌发与生存对策的研究则很少.温带沙漠中由于湿沙层的存在,一年生植物的繁殖成功依赖于激活种子萌发的降水量和降水持续时间.本文在分析温带沙漠生境特点的基础上建立了一年生植物种子萌发对策的理论模式.采集于腾格里沙漠中沙坡头地区的一年生植物沙米种子的萌发行为与理论分析结果具有较好的一致性.在温带沙漠中,一年生植物种子萌发适应性表现为生长季节中适宜条件下的持续萌发过程.该生境中一年生植物不存在自然休眠现象,但存在水分条件控制的种子休眠.
Seed germination behavior plays a key role in the persistence of desert annuals and population dynamics. At present, researches on the germination strategies of desert annuals are mostly concentrated in the tropical and sub-tropical deserts, and few researches on the germination and survival strategies of temperate desert plants are carried out. Success of annual plants due to the presence of wet sand in temperate deserts depends on the amount of precipitation and the duration of precipitation that activate seed germination. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of temperate desert habitat, this paper established the theoretical model of the seed germination of annual plants. The germination behavior of the annual gramineous seeds collected from the Shapotou area in the Tengger Desert was in good agreement with the theoretical analysis. In temperate deserts, the adaptability of annual plant seed germination appears to be a continuous process of germination under appropriate conditions during the growing season. There is no natural dormancy of annuals in this habitat, but there is dormancy of seeds under the control of moisture conditions.
