The results of soil analysis of tea plantations in the main tea areas in China showed that most of the soil K concentrations were below the middle level and showed zonal distribution. That is, the content of slow-acting potassium decreased from north to south, and the ratio of available potassium to slow-acting potassium was from north to South increased. Analysis of soil K / Q showed that soil potassium in tea plantations generally had an ARke (intensity index) of less than 0.01 (mol / l) -12. Application of potassium fertilizer can significantly increase the potassium supply intensity index ARke and ΔK0 (capacity index). Applying magnesium increased ARke, but had no significant effect on ΔK0 and PBCk (buffering capacity). Both ARke and ΔK0 in the untreated soil tended to decrease
