日日本 BS 星上播出的高清晰度电视,在其国内称之为高解像度电视(Hi-vision),为模拟的 MUSE 制,是目前为止世界上电视画质最佳的电视。因此,自1985年在日本筑波科学博览会上首次公开露面(通过 UHF 频段),而后于1991年11月25日通过 BS-3直播卫星第九频道开始高画质实验广播,直至1994年11月25日从实验播出转为实用化试验播出以来(11月25日寓意1125条扫描线),其精细的画质、鲜明的色彩,倍受人们的青睐,始终成为大众收视的焦点。
High-definition television broadcasted on Japan’s BS Star, known domestically as Hi-vision, is an analogue MUSE system and is by far the best TV in the world.
