本文从长度指标和密度指标两个方面研究了中国英语专业学生的句法复杂性。长度指标分别是MLC和MLT,密度指标分别是C/T和DC/C。研究结果表明,这四个指标均可以作为发展指标区分不同的二语水平,从对比大一年级和大四年级的结果来看,四个指标均呈上升趋势,也就是说学习者在经过四年学习之后,文章的句子变得更加长而且更复杂。此研究对今后的教学有一定的实践意义,教师可根据研究结果,对学生进行有针对性的教学。
This paper studies the syntactic complexity of Chinese English majors from two aspects: length index and density index. Length indicators are MLC and MLT respectively, and density indicators are C / T and DC / C respectively. The results show that these four indicators can be used as indicators of development to distinguish between different levels of second language, compared with the results of the freshmen and seniors, all four indicators showed an upward trend, that is, learners after four After years of study, the sentence of the article becomes longer and more complex. This study has some practical significance for the future teaching, teachers can be targeted according to the results of the teaching of students.
