文字改革的效果究竟如何?我认为是失败的。 三十多年来的文字改革,没有使孩子们学习汉字更便利、识字更多。相反,学习汉字更复杂更难了。大多数人识字越来越少,文盲越来越多,文化水平越来越低,这是一个严重问题。我们是世界上最大的民族,如果没有自己的文字、自己的文化,是不可能存在和发展的。中华民族所以能有八千年的历史而未中断,就是因为她有高度的文化。
