2002年12月23—24日,中国乒协教练员委员会会议在北京举行,来自全国42个省市及单位的58名教练以及国家队教练参加了会议。这是自1994年中国乒协教练委员会成立以来召开的第一次全体大会。国家体育总局副局长李富荣、中国乒协主席徐寅生、乒羽管理中心主任刘凤岩等出席会议并讲话。李富荣副局长在讲话中指出;“自大阪世乒赛以来,由于规则的修改,我们遇到了近20年来最困难的时期,过去遇到的困难只是局部的,而这次则是全局性的,可以说我们面临严峻考验。这次会议的目的是为了让各省市教练了解当今世界乒乓球发展的趋势,促使教练们认识到,如果还是按照过去的思路训练,跟不上形势的发展和要求,中国乒乓球就会落后,就不可能再创辉煌。”
On December 23-24, 2002, the China Table Tennis Association Coaches Committee meeting was held in Beijing. 58 coaches from 42 provinces, cities and units nationwide and national team coaches attended the meeting. This is the first plenary session of the China Table Tennis Association Coaching Board since its establishment in 1994. Li Furong, deputy director of the State Sports General Administration, Xu Yinsen, chairman of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, and Liu Fengyan, director of Pingyu Management Center attended the meeting and made speeches. In his speech, Deputy Commissioner Li Furong pointed out: “Since the World Championships in Osaka, we have encountered the most difficult period in nearly 20 years due to the revision of the rules. The difficulties we encountered in the past were only partial, but this time it was global. It can be said that we face a severe test.The purpose of this meeting is to enable provincial and municipal coaches to understand the trend of the development of the world table tennis today, prompting coaches to recognize that if the train of thought in accordance with the past or keep up with the development and requirements of the situation, Chinese table tennis will be backward, it is impossible to create brilliant. ”
