In the information society, all kinds of news spread rapidly and ranged in scope. As the most developed political and economic region in the world today, the West has no news transmission or influence. Implicit in which the tendencies, points of view, you need a certain look in order to prove. Westerners are good at using the rhetoric to wrap their points of view. When the foreign news is translated into Chinese, they should be treated with caution. They should not only discover the true tendency under the appearance but also learn to use the rhetoric theory to properly handle the Chinese translation. This article attempts to find out feasible ways of dealing with rhetoric through an article translated by The Economist. Without prejudice to the original meaning or misleading the audience, this article vividly translates the original text and obtains the approval of the audience.
