Anni Pulu’s novels often attract people’s attention because of the peculiar imagination, bold narration, rough language and delicate emotions, which are also studied by many scholars, especially from the angle of ecocriticism, to deconstruct the aesthetic beauty of Annie’s novels More. In fact, Annie created a group of cowboy figures with distinctive American native flavor in The Story of Wyoming. With cowboy activities as their clue, Annie presented the rich and colorful folk culture of Wyoming from many angles. This article shows the “beauty” of the folk culture written by Annie in three aspects: the behind-the-scenes front of the bull-riding athletics, the far-reaching decorative items and the farm customs.
