随着开采深度的加大,巷道底臌问题更加突出。因此,要研究底臌现象并找出有效的防止办法。研究结果表明,各向同性(均质)岩体底板的强烈位移是由于巷道轮廓附近应力高度集中所致。因此防止底臌最有效的方法是对巷道轮廓附近岩石进行应力释放(钻孔、槽缝、松动放炮释放)。苏联卡尔岗钦斯克矿区,多采用巷道底板垂直缝卸压法。在1985~1986年间,用槽缝卸压有3000m。开掘槽缝使用截煤机《乌拉尔—33》开缝深度1.6~1.8m。这种方法设备单一,参数变更灵活.随时间推移,槽缝逐渐压缩闭合,直至消失。
