本文所说的回乡知识青年包括从学校毕业回乡的大专、中专、高中、初中、职中学生和从部队复退回乡的青年。在改革开放的新形势下,回乡知识青年已成为发展农村经济的骨干力量,他们是农村专业户的主体,是推广和应用农业科学技术的带头人,是乡镇企业的生力军。总之,他们已成为农村新的生产力的代表。如何使他们尽快成才,关系到能否充分发挥他们在农村经济发展中的生力军作用。从广西的调查看,由于种种原因,影响回乡知识青年成才的消极因素还不少。主要有如下几个方面: 一、学校教育与农业生产实际脱节一是把中小学教育办成淘汰和升学教育。因而在人们头脑中形成了这样一个观念:“读书是为了考上大学,考不上大学就不必读那么多,认点字就行了”。至于为现实服务,特别
