Ertan Hydropower Station is a water and power supply point that can be developed recently and has superior conditions. It is proposed to construct a 240-meter-high concrete double curvature arch dam. The bedrock of the dam site is high-strength magmatic rocks (Permian Hedaoshan basalts and Indosinian syenite intruded into it) with weak structural destruction and no penetrating structural planes. Most of the foundation of the dam is placed in this hard, Complete, massive rock, the engineering geological conditions superior. Permian Mount Emei basalt, a total thickness of 1100 meters, and dam foundation (shoulder) is directly related to the second and third floor. The syenite is a dyke wall with a length of about 6 km and a width of 1 km. The dam site is located at the southwestern end of the dam. The dyke wall gradually disappears after being divided into four branches on the right bank of the dam site. Due to the intrusive activity of the syenite, two wall-rock alteration zones, namely, stiltonite basalts, are formed in the surrounding rock (two basalts) of the main branch of the syenite (Ⅱ branch). Due to the rock belt
