巨星干辣椒原产韩国,1996年从汉城种苗公司引入我国,是近2～3年山东部分地区最为畅销的干辣椒品种之一.该品种的特点是,1.大果型尖辣椒;2. 抗病性强,特抗疫病、病毒病;3.青果、红果兼用型品种,可用于制辣椒面,或食品加工,本品种属于早、中熟品种,生育期80～85天,果味辣,皮厚、色枣红,果径2～3cm,果长12cm左右,单果重10～20g,连续坐果性好,长势旺,株高一般75～80cm,主茎直到12～14节仍能结果,红椒及干椒品质极佳,出干率高,鲜果亩产可达3000～4000kg,辣椒干亩产300kg以上,高产可突破500kg.
