在许多国家,由于麻疹疫苗的广泛应用以及临床水平的提高和社会经济条件的改善,麻疹的死亡率明显下降。然而,麻疹仍然是全球发病率和死亡率较高的重要疾病之一,近年报道非洲某些国家儿童麻疹的死亡率可高达9.7%。肺炎是麻疹导致死亡的最常见原因,可以是由病毒引起,也可以是由继发的单纯疱疹病毒、腺病毒或细菌感染引起。
In many countries measles mortality has dropped significantly due to the widespread use of measles vaccine and the improvement of clinical level and socio-economic conditions. However, measles continues to be one of the most important diseases with high morbidity and mortality in the world. In recent years, measles mortality in some countries in Africa has been reported as high as 9.7%. Pneumonia is the most common cause of measles death, either caused by a virus or by secondary herpes simplex virus, adenovirus or bacterial infection.
