渤海湾作为中国唯一的内海,素有“黄金水道”之称。在环渤海地区,60多个大小港口串接在5800公里的海岸线上,随着天津、大连、秦皇岛、青岛4个亿吨大港的相继形成,4颗璀璨的明珠将渤海湾镶嵌得宛如一条灿烂夺目的“金项链”,令人赞叹不已。然而,与这些辉煌功绩遥相呼应的,却是连续不断的一桩桩海难…… 1999年10月17日,“盛鲁”号客滚船沉入海底,船上载有38辆汽车,129名乘客和36名工作人员,此次事故造成1人死亡,1人失踪; 1999年11月24日晚7时,发生了震惊中外的“大舜”号特大海难,全船304人中仅22人生还,造成直接经济损失9000多万元,在中国海事史上写下了悲怆的一笔; 2001年10月28日凌晨,“通惠”轮起火爆炸沉没,船上共有32人,其中27人死亡或失踪; 2001年11月16日凌晨,“星光”轮在大连附近海域沉没,造成2人死亡; 2003年2月22日,“辽旅渡7”轮发生沉船事故,81名遇险人员全部被救起,其中有4人因在海水中时间过长,抢救无效死亡。

In the early morning of October 28, 2001, “Tong Hui” took a turn for the most part with 32 people on fire, of whom 27 were killed or missing; On the early morning of November 16, 2001, the “Starlight” ship sunk in the sea near Dalian, killing two people. On February 22, 2003, a wreck accident occurred in the “Liao Lugu 7” round and 81 people in distress rescued. Four of them died of salvage ineffectiveness due to long time in seawater.
