质疑即提出疑难问题。激发学生质疑可以集中学生注意力,提高学习兴趣;可以启发思维、发展智力;可以反馈评价,调控教师的教学;也可以引导学生的思考方向,扩大思维广度,提高思维层次,但更重要的在于可以让学生学会如何学习,如何思考。正如一位教育家所说:“你一天可以为学生上一课。但是如果你用激发好奇心教他学习,他终生都会不断地学习。”作为中学化学教师,不仅要激发和维持学生的好奇心,也要引导学生善于发现问题,不断提出问题,教师更要认真地解决学生所提出的问题。那么,中学化学教师在教学中究竟应当怎样去培养和激发学生质疑的技能呢?
Questioning asks difficult questions. Stimulating students’ questions can concentrate students’ attention and improve their interest in learning; they can inspire thinking and develop intelligence; they can feedback evaluation and control teachers’ teaching; they can also guide students’ thinking direction, expand their breadth of thinking, and improve the level of thinking, but more importantly, Students can learn how to learn and how to think. As one educator puts it, “You can teach your students one lesson a day. But if you teach him with intriguing curiosity, he will continue to learn throughout his life.” As a middle school chemistry teacher, he not only inspires and maintains students’ curiosity. Hearts should also guide students to be good at finding problems and constantly ask questions. Teachers must also seriously solve problems raised by students. So, how should middle school chemistry teachers train and inspire students’ questioning skills in teaching?
