庆祝中国人民解放军建军90周年大会8月1日上午在北京人民大会堂隆重举行。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在会上发表重要讲话强调,人民军队的历史辉煌,是鲜血生命铸就的,永远值得我们铭记。人民军队的历史经验,是艰辛探索得来的,永远需要我们弘扬。人民军队的历史发展,是忠诚担当推动的,永远激励我们向前。中华民族实现伟大复兴,中国人民实现更加美好生活,必须加快把人民军队建设成为世界一流军队。我们要不忘初心、继续前进,坚定不移走中国特色强军之路,把强军事业不断推向前进,努力实现党在新形势下的强军目标。
On the morning of August 1, the General Assembly celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the State Council and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the meeting. He emphasized that the historic glory of the people’s army is the result of the blood life and should always be remembered. The historical experience of the people’s army is hard to explore and will always require our promotion. The historical development of the people’s army is committed by loyalty and will always inspire us to move forward. To realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to make the Chinese people a better life, we must speed up building the people’s army into a world-class military force. We must not forget the beginning of our mind and keep moving forward. We must unswervingly follow the road of strengthening the military with Chinese characteristics, continue to push forward the cause of strengthening the armed forces and strive to achieve the party’s goal of strengthening the armed forces in the new situation.
