日前,山东省人民政府正式批复薛家岛旅游度假区更名为凤凰岛旅游度假区,标志着以凤凰岛影视传媒文化为主题的青岛开发区薛家岛旅游开发向纵深推进,争做中国好莱坞的凤凰岛中国影视传媒基地呼之欲出。以凤凰岛影视传媒为龙头的文化产业建设,是青岛市实施“挺进西海岸”战略决策的一个重要组成部分,按照概念性规划,这里将逐渐形成以影视和大型文化节庆活动为主题的影视文化传媒产业,带动西海岸实现以休闲旅游、度假旅游、文化特色旅游、高尚居住为主题的“大旅游”发展目标。同时,把薛家岛旅游度假区更名为凤凰岛旅游度假区,对于打造以凤凰岛为标志的中国影视文化品牌至关重要,将加速推进凤凰岛的高起点开发、为青岛建设做出更大贡献。
