本文首先引证大量材料指出,完整的盘古神话记载虽然见于三国时的徐整,但其内容因子先秦两汉的文献早有记载;进而结合大量的文献民俗材料说明早在佛教传入之前盘古神话已在中华大地广为流传;再后指出远古时代的华夏大地是产生盘古神话的生活土壤,“外来”说只对材料进行简单的对比和推论,缺乏辩证的和综合的分析,在研究方法上并不可取
