-The 2-D cylinder flow selected is to be simulated numerically in non-uniform grid. The results show that for this kind of steady flow problem there are striking advantages if the stretching grid of rather large stretching rate is used. Those include that the flow pattern close to the cylinder can be exactly figured out and the convergency of the iterative calculation is faster. An attempt is made to explain the convergency of iteration for the problem.
