翻译原则的讨论大多偏于笼统,操作性弱。本文不涉及对已有翻译原则的思考,而是重点阐述关系取向和翻译原则选择的问题,在语义、语用和文化不同层面上提出忠实原则有效性的评判依据。以关系为依托提出的翻译原则可使译者在处理跨语言信息时译而有据。译文只有在关系基础上与原文保持对等效果才可称得上取信于原文。
Most of the discussions on the principles of translation are general and operational. Instead of thinking about the existing principles of translation, this article focuses on the relationship orientation and the choice of the principles of translation, and proposes the validity of the principle of loyalty on the different levels of semantics, pragmatics and culture. The principle of translation, which is based on the relationship, can translate the translator’s data into cross-linguistic information. Only in the relationship between the translation and the original text to maintain the same effect can be regarded as gaining the original text.
