我省是全国重点林区之一,每年造林任务十分繁重,手工作业远不能适应生产发展的需要。为了给我省营林作业提供一种适用的机械,我厂和省林科所共同承担了造林挖穴机的研制任务。在FW_3型挖穴机鉴定之后,根据下达的科研规划及生产需要,一九七九年我们和省林科所又共同承担了FW_5型挖穴机的研制工作,在上级党委的领导下,一年来,经过共同努力,完成了试制工作,FW_5型的样机经过了生产性试验。表明这种机子具有结构简单,
