The current global military security situation is characterized by risinguncertainties and interlocked traditional/nontraditional securitythreats with armies across the world deploying in advance for the un-predictable future in a bid to build a favorable environment through afunctional transformation of their respective armed forces. Mean-while, unprecedentedly acute are the struggles in the realm of armscontrol, which mirror obliquely world unrest, thus giving newdimen-sions to military security strategy for nations.
