丸山真男经过长期的精心研究 ,揭示出了日本思想中的“古层”。这个“古层”是将外来的儒学、佛教、西学改变为“日本式”的重要文化契机 ;日本的思想既不是中国思想、西方理论的复制品 ,也不是绝对的“内发”产物 ,而是外来文化的绝对影响和“古层”的执拗性生存之矛盾的统一。“古层论”深刻地揭示了日本深层文化中的奥秘。
After a long period of careful study, Maruyama Matsushita revealed the “ancient story” in Japanese thought. This “ancient society” is an important cultural opportunity to change the origins of Confucianism, Buddhism and Western learning into “Japanese style.” Japanese thought is neither a replica of Chinese thought or western theory nor an absolute “inner hair” product. It is the unification of the contradictions between the absolute influence of foreign cultures and the arduous existence of the “ancient strata.” The “theory of ancient strata” profoundly revealed the mysteries in Japan’s deep culture.
