“矿床讲座”从今天起和读者见面了。这时候,北京正在举行全国第一次职工科学技术普及工作极积分子大会,动员职工向科学技术进军。广大职工都在热烈地响应党的号召,努力学习科学,钻研技术。我们为了帮助读者更好地向地质科学进军,从本期起刊登“矿床讲座”,向读者讲解一些有关矿床学的基本知识,如矿床形成的条件,矿床在地壳内分布的规律,矿床的产状,矿体与围岩和构造的关系,以及找矿标志,等等。这个讲座是为地质部门的广大职工以及初学地质或准备学习地质的同志们举办的。因此,在文字叙述上尽量做到浅显易懂,在内容方面着重介绍矿床学的一些基本概念,以及在生产实践中和以后继续深入钻研过程中所必须知道的原理和原则。本讲座共分十二讲。首光从人类利用矿产的历史及矿产对国民经济的意义,以及矿床学研究的内容及任务等问题谈起。其次向读者介绍有关矿床学方面的基本概念,如地壳的构造和平均成分、化学元素的聚集作用,矿体的形状及矿石的结构和构造等。然后再进一步专门讨论内生矿床,外生矿床及变质矿床的成因、产状、矿体和围岩及构造的关系,以及找矿标志和我国的矿床实例。同时也讨论构造、地层、岩石,及岩浆对矿床形成的控制作用等。最后在以上几讲的基础上提出我国矿产的成矿时代及矿产的分布等。
