景观是朱日新这几年一直描述的对象。随着科技的发展,当代景观的概念已经从狭义的“风景”含义发展成一个集合,包活地球上的物体,所能探知的宇宙,以及人与它们之间的互动关系。之所以选择景观,是由于他一直迷恋科技发展给人带来的影响。他认为当下的中国,对科技是极其重视的,科技也给中国带来了翻天覆地的变化。人在这种大的趋势下,不论身体还是心理,都会自觉或不自觉的发生改变。他试图在艺术与科学之间搭起一座自己认知的桥梁。科学在人的意识中是冰冷的、理性的,而情感却是火热的、 Landscape is Zhu Ri new object has been described in recent years.
