On the one hand, the five cardamon girls witnessed the actual spiritual and physical suffering of women. On the one hand, they believed in the temptation of the Garden of Indomitable Souls. On the other hand, before they really entered the social role, Red Fire chose the beautiful death, looking for the dream of youth on the other side of life - “married woman” is a sad cry of fate of Chinese women suffering, but also an anger on Chinese feudal culture and tradition Allegations. Of course, the meaning of this film is more than that. In a sense, the five young girls did not really experience their own existence and suffer from suffering. They chose to commit suicide consciously and with a definite purpose. Thus, their death is metaphysical, the film’s understanding and expression of this death is also strange and fresh. This is the very point that has aroused our interest in interpretation.
