南丰100-4型收割机是以165F-1型4马力汽油机为动力的自走底盘手扶式收割机。适用于南方平原、丘陵小块地,收割自然高度为35～130厘米,直立或倒伏不大于30°,亩产300斤以上的水稻和亩产100斤以上的大、小麦。在人脚下陷不超过10厘米的水田中可连续正常地工作。该机在一九七三年南方水田机械现场会的试验中作业质量较好,受到与会代表的欢迎。同年十二月由江西省机械工业局组织鉴定,认为可以定型生产。
