鉴于汉语和英语中存在的内涵文化、表达习惯等不同,译者们在英译汉翻译的过程中常常需要对源语言的句子结构做出调整。本文所选语料来自于《蒙大拿风流医生》,笔者运用卡特福德的翻译转换理论中的结构转换对译文进行分析,归纳总结了四种常见的结构转换,帮助译者们在英译汉的过程中更加准确地处理句子结构,使译文更加符合汉语的表达习惯。 In view of the different connotations and expressions in Chinese and English, translators often need to make adjustments to the sentence structure of the source language in the process of translating English into Chinese. The corpus selected in this article comes from “The Merry Doctor of Montana”. The author analyzes the translation using the structural transformation in the translation theory of Catford, and summarizes the four common structural transformations to help the translators in translating English into Chinese The process of sentence processing more accurately handle the sentence so that the translation more in line with the Chinese expression of habit.
