由于高校的扩招,学生入学时英语成绩的分化也有了明显的差异,对大学生的英语教学形成了挑战。大学英语教学怎样才能不挫伤学生学习的积极性,最大限度地提高学生的学习兴趣呢?从“因材施教”的理论出发,阐述了“分层教学”的意义,并进一步分析了分层教学在大学英语教学中的应用。
