基于X86平台的嵌入式计算机得到了广泛应用。该文就如何有效提高嵌入式BIOS的配置速度,抛弃传统的BIOS开发的繁琐过程,缩短BIOS的开发周期,提出了一种不同于传统BIOS的新的设计方法——将POST过程的检测和初始化代码与初始化数据分离,以简化配置过程对核心代码的维护。实践证明,该方法使嵌入式BIOS的配置工作更加简单、高效。
Embedded computer based on X86 platform has been widely used. This paper puts forward a new design method different from the traditional BIOS - how to detect and initialize the POST process on how to effectively improve the configuration speed of embedded BIOS, abandon the tedious process of traditional BIOS development and shorten the development cycle of the BIOS The code is separated from the initialization data to simplify the maintenance of the core code in the configuration process. Practice has proved that this approach makes the configuration of embedded BIOS easier and more efficient.
