In May 2010, the University of Chicago Press published Marx in the Marginal Zone: On Nationalism, Ethnic Groups and Non-Western Societies by the famous Marxist scholar Kevin B. Anderson. The book studied a series of Marxist fringe problems and produced a strong response in western academia. Britain, the United States, Spain, France, Germany and other scholars have written for the book reviews. In August 2011, the book was awarded by the American Sociological Union “2010-2011 year Paul Soweto Sociology Award ”. Recently, Kevin B. Anderson received an academic interview with Spencer Leonard, a scholar in the United States. His reply reflects a left-wing scholar’s understanding of Marx’s thoughts in his later years. There is no lack of insightful insights for domestic academic reference.
