语言具有承载、构建文化和标记国家与民族的社会文化功能。当前,中国正处在改革开放经济腾飞时期,外语教育十分兴旺。文章拟从民族伦理的视角,探讨宁夏回族地区的阿拉伯语言教育,以及阿拉伯语教育对于宁夏回族地区经济、政治、文化发展的重要现实意义。通过对宁夏地区阿拉伯语教育的历史和现状的实地考察,为制定科学合理的语言教育规划和完善的语言政策体系提供建议和意见,进一步推进宁夏少数民族外语语言教育的较快发展,服务于国家和自治区向西开放发展的实际需要。
